From June 6 to 22, the 78 département is offering a wide range of events to celebrate our forests and raise public awareness of their importance. Les Nuits des Forêts is a unique festival that invites you to (re)discover the forest in a sensitive and immersive way. For ten days or so, encounters are organized with those who contribute to the upkeep and protection of forests. The program includes shows, exhibitions of works of art and atypical, immersive experiences, day and night.
Pachamama has joined forces with the Festival Les Nuits des Forêts to offer a fun and educational program to help you enjoy and marvel at the forest. Family events include an orienteering race, storytelling and philosophy workshops, on-site Loup garou games, and even an introduction to the sounds of the forest for the very young! There will also be numerous workshops for adults and teenagers, a forest fresco, themed walks, land art, forest baths, meetings with foresters from the Office national des forêts...
La Maison de Fer and the Fans de Forêt association invite you on a sensory journey through the heart of Parc Meissonier. Sight, sound, smell, taste, touch: explore this historic garden and its essences in all senses, through a journey punctuated by sensory experiences and fun activities. A sensational discovery tour!
Join the Reyclage Écologie Éthique Véganisme association for a host of nature-themed activities for young and old alike, including a pollination workshop, children's stories and games, land art, a textile quiz and an edible plant walk.
In the heart of the forest and animal park, let yourself be carried away by the discovery of the wolf forest: a show, tales and observation of a real wolf pack will give you the keys to a reflection on the balance of ecosystems, and more particularly the place of each component of the living world.
A free concert in the forest is organized by the "Amis de la Forêt de Saint-Germain et de Marly" association. A group of musicians (violinists, accordionists, saxophonists...), accompanied by backing singers, will perform the most beautiful songs from the French repertoire in the magical setting of the Étoile Parfaite, in Fourqueux.
To mark the European Archaeology Days and the launch of its "Masters of Fire" exhibition, the museum is organizing a weekend of activities focusing on Bronze Age practices. Among them, the "Challenges of the Fierce Ages", where you'll have the chance to observe and practice cutting and slicing oak logs with several archaic tools, including some made of bronze. Accompanied by archaeologists and a dozen student volunteers, you'll learn how bronze contributed to the evolution of woodworking techniques.
