If you're an artist or a lover of Impressionism, take a weekend trip to Auvers-sur-Oise, a small town in the Ile-de-France region that Cézanne and Van Gogh loved. The SNCF has set up a special train to take you there, less than an hour from the capital!

Follow in Van Gogh's footsteps, just a Navigo away ! From May 1 to October 27, 2024, the Train des Impressionnistes (Impressionist Train) on the Transilien's H line will be appearing on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, taking you to Auvers-sur-Oise, an artist's paradise, without any connection. There are only two trains a day: departing from Gare du Nord at 9.38 a.m. and returning at 6.15 p.m., so don't miss out!

While the region offers many cultural walks around the Impressionist movement, such as in Chatou, Moret-sur-Loing or Argenteuil, the village of Auvers-sur-Oise is sure to arouse your curiosity. Many artists, including Pissarro, Cézanne and Van Gogh, drew their inspiration here, creating masterpieces such as"L'église d'Auvers " and"Un bouvier à Valhermeil".
