What could be more prestigious than a literary festival in a château? In the heart of La Roche-Guyon, on July 5 and 6, 2025, enjoy literary meetings and walks, as well as round-table discussions, in a marvellous setting.

For the fourth year, anexceptional literary festival will be held at the Château de la Roche-Guyon, in the Val-d'Oise, on July 5 and 6, 2025. Just an hour from Paris, this imposing estate sits atop a hill, spreading its presence over the surrounding countryside. It's in this majestic setting that people come to take part in an event where readers and authors come together, with activities for the whole family on this year's theme of "landscapes", from literary walks to round tables and workshops for the little ones.

Leaning against the chalk cliffs since the Middle Ages, this ancient fortress has metamorphosed over the centuries, elegantly blending different architectural styles. From the medieval dungeon to the 18th-century stables, from the first troglodytic spaces to the Potager-fruitier and the Jardin anglais, the château offers a veritable journey through time, which continues through literature. Some twenty French and foreign authors will be taking part in the event .
