For Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2026, the weekend of June 6 and 7 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., numerous green spaces across Paris and Île-de-France will open their doors to the public, offering free activities for everyone. Strolls, guided tours, exhibitions, concerts and other happenings await in the region’s finest green spaces—public or private gardens, hidden green havens or sprawling departmental estates.
In Seine-Saint-Denis, near Montreuil, you may already have heard of the Jardin du Côté des Roches Brunes, tucked along a trail with an evocative name, the Jasmins Trail, accessible from Avenue Paul Signac. A genuine hidden gem worth discovering. Set in a picturesque setting that almost makes you feel you’re in the countryside!
Sinuous paths and meticulously laid-out plantings create a bucolic atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding in this spot. The Jardin du Côte des Roches Brunes opens its doors especially for the Rendez-vous aux Jardins: now is the moment to visit this secret and unusual place on the east side of Paris!
Open house at the Roches Brunes Garden in the Murs à Pêches neighborhood of Montreuil. Visitors can explore an old greenhouse, a pond, fruit trees, colorful flowers, and vegetable plots.
Plant swap and garden plant sales
This year's theme, following "The Five Senses in the Garden," focuses on Sight.
The Graines de Terre workshop-school presents, with contributions from students, a series of ceramic seed sculptures that play with scale to make these tiny botanical geniuses “visible.”
These mineral-inspired sculptures will be displayed throughout the garden, engaging in a dialogue with the enchanting environment of plants, trees, and flowers.
