Forest Nights is back this year from June 5 to 21, 2026, with a delightful program at the Jardin d'Agronomie Tropicale in Paris. The lineup includes dusk-time observations, workshops, exhibitions, and screenings that are open to everyone.
Nights of the Forests, is the national festival that shines a light on France’s woodlands through a range of events. For its new edition, taking place from June 5–21, 2026, hundreds of forests across France and the Île-de-France region—including the Tropical Agriculture Garden of Paris—are taking part in the celebration. This garden, set in the Bois de Vincennes, is a unique site dedicated to agricultural research and to the country’s colonial history.
The Jardin d'agronomie tropicale de Paris René Dumont is a historic site with a rich biodiversity and numerous architectural remains. In collaboration with the Cité du développement durable, it is opening its doors for a series of free events as part of the Nuits des Forêts. The garden, with its greenhouses, exotic pavilions and commemorative monuments, is the perfect setting for exploring current ecological and cultural issues.
You’ll find roughly a fifteen or so events and activities open to everyone. The program includes exhibitions, guided tours, family-friendly workshops, performances, and nocturnal storytelling under the stars! Note that some activities and workshops are by reservation, so don’t forget to sign up!
