At the end of the year, the days get shorter, the sun sets earlier: this lack of light can sadden many people. That's why many events are organized during this period, to bring a little light and magic back into our daily lives. At the end of the year, there are many festivals and lantern walks : poetic itineraries that put stars in the eyes of all visitors.
Aubervilliers, too, is organizing some pretty luminous events. The Les Poussière association invites us to a grand parade of lanterns on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Starting at the Lycée Le Corbusier, a large number of participants are expected to form a long, illuminated march through the town.
After a few years' absence, the Lantern Parade is back. The parade is the culmination of a major creative project, open to young and old alike. Since April, residents have been able to build their own wicker and paper lanterns duringcreative workshops. At the end of this artistic season, everyone is invited to take part in the parade, which highlights the work of the residents and the association.
Anyone who has built a lantern is invited to collect it from 6.30pm at the Lycée Le Corbusier. The parade is due to leave the Lycée at 7.30pm.
Along the way, there'll be artistic entertainment: dancers, jugglers, projections, theater, collages... A few surprises await you! At the end of the parade, participants should find a large popular meal, as well as a concert or show: a real party to celebrate this moment of sharing in Aubervilliers!
Details of the parade route will be announced shortly. Don't miss this event, to be enjoyed with family and friends.
