Canoepte, a sporty canoe trip along the Epte river (95)

The weather's warm and sunny, so why not take a trip along the Epte in the Val-d'Oise? This French river, a right-bank tributary of the Seine, crosses several départements, including Seine-Maritime, Eure and Val-d'Oise, within the Vexin regional nature park.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced paddler, don a lifejacket and get ready to paddle a canoe for two or four hours. You can choose to embark from Boury-en-Vexin or Saint-Clair-en-Epte for a 7, 9 or 16 km trip. Along the way, you'll discover protected natural areas and different species of birds, nature spots...

For a sporting canoeing adventure in the Val-d'Oise, expect to pay €60 for a two-seater canoe and €30 for a single-seater canoe. For children under 12, there's a €10 supplement, as they'll be installed in the middle of a 2/3-seater canoe. Rentals are available from April 1 to October 31, 2024.
