Saint-Cyr-l'École 2025 festival: skydiving, hot-air ballooning and fireworks in Yvelines

The Fête de Saint-Cyr-l'École, a much-anticipated annual event in the Yvelines region, returns this weekend of June 13 and 14, 2025 under the banner ofaeronautics. The town, historically linked to aviation thanks to its aerodrome, transforms its squares and streets into veritable flying fields for two days of festivities punctuated by concerts, spectacular entertainment, aerial activities and two huge fireworks displays. It's a heaven-and-earth experience for all the family.

Friday June 13: fireworks and festive atmosphere

The festivities kick off at 7pm in the Place Jean-Baptiste Lully, with a host of food trucks. An opportunity to nibble while enjoying the first notes of music.

• 8:30pm: concert for young audiences with the group Les Zélectrons Frits
  
  
• 11:30pm: fireworks from Place Arnaud Beltrame
  
  
• Midnight: DJ set with LIQBRAIN to keep the party going

This first free, open-air evening sets the scene for a weekend of light-hearted discovery.

Saturday, June 14: an afternoon of sky and adrenaline

Starting at 1 p.m., the traditional costume parade of the leisure centers takes place from the market square, accompanied by the Harmonie Musicale de la Saint-Cyrienne, the Batucada de l'EMSCE and the majorettes. The procession, open to all residents, makes its way to the airfield.

Free shuttle trains link the various sites, from Place Lully to theaerodrome, where a host of events take place until 7pm:

At the airfield :

• Hot-air balloon ride at 40 meters altitude (free access, weather permitting)
