Nuit des Châteaux 2025: immersive tour and dinner at Clocher de la Duchesse in Yvelines

Every autumn, a magical atmosphere takes hold of the castles and historic buildings of Paris and the Île-de-France region... This is the Nuit des Châteaux, which returns for a new edition on October 17, 18 and 19, 2025! This unusual event allows us to spend a timeless evening in magnificent monuments steeped in history. Discover the program!

La Nuit des Châteaux was launched by start-up Dartagnans, a company dedicated to safeguarding and promoting France's castles and historic monuments. As with the Nuit des Musées, participating castles open their doors to the public on a special night.

On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Clocher de la Duchesse joins the event: this place with an unusual history takes part in the Nuit des Châteaux with an exceptional evening.

This B&B in the Yvelines town of Bonnelles is housed in the former stables of the Château de Bonnelles. It was home to important and wealthy members of the 19th-century aristocracy, including the Duchesse d'Uzès, great-granddaughter of Barbe Nicole Clicquot, founder of the Veuve Clicquot champagne house. Today, the Clocher de la Duchesse welcomes visitors in search of nature and relaxation.

On the program for this Nuit des Châteaux at the Clocher de la Duchesse :

• At 6pm, visitors are welcomed at dusk.
  The gates of the estate open, while the tall windows of the Clocher light up softly in candlelight.
  
  
• At 6.30pm, the immersive tour begins.
  The history of Château de Bonnelles and the Duchesse d'Uzès unfolds along the way: tales of royal hunts, art salons, memories of the First World War. The stones and shadows of the estate still bear the imprint of this bold, visionary woman.
  
  
• At 8pm, a sit-down dinner is served in the old stables, lit by candlelight.
  The meal, based on local produce, includes a starter, main course and dessert. Gourmet suggestions include pumpkin velouté with chestnut slivers, chicken supreme with morel mushrooms and seasonal vegetables, spit-roasted lamb, fine caramelized apple tart and chocolate fondant with red fruit coulis.
  
  
• At 9:30pm, the evening ends with a climb to the bell tower.
  From the heights, the building stands out in the moonlight, resonating to the sound of hunting horns, and is imprinted in the memory like a timeless vision.
