What was originally slated for June 27 and postponed because of the scorching heat, Cergy’s traditional fireworks are back for a festive, convivial evening on Saturday, September 12, 2026, on the Esplanade de Paris.
Summer is prime time for all kinds of activities, blending concerts, shows, games, sports, and open-air exhibitions. The city of Cergy is no exception. From June 6 to July 4, 2026, this commune in the Val-d’Oise transforms its neighborhoods into one giant festival, delivering moments of joy and discovery through free activities for young people, plus concerts, dance, artistic demonstrations, and participatory activities for all.
Among the summer highlights not to miss, one tradition stands out: the fireworks display. Initially scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, on the Paris Esplanade in Cergy (Axe Majeur), the pyrotechnic show has finally been moved to Saturday, September 12. For the occasion, several foodtrucks—savory and sweet—will be on site from 7 p.m. to satisfy everyone’s cravings. On the menu? Pizzas, Breton galettes and crepes, burgers, hot dogs, world flavors, vegetarian options, sweet treats, churros or cotton candy…
Throughout the evening, residents of Cergy will also be able to groove to electro rhythms spun by DJ Mr Fays.
Finally, at 10:30 p.m., the grand finale that should delight both kids and adults. Free to attend, this spectacle pyrotechnique is likely to draw a large crowd of curious onlookers to Cergy.
