In your Ile-de-France aperitifs, there's no doubt that Gallia beer is often present. This craft beer, which has always been made in the Ile-de-France region, and more specifically in Pantin since 2015, allows you to drink, in moderation, and above all, locally! Although the Gallia beer factory was established in the 14th arrondissement of Paris in 1890, it recently moved to a former boiler works.
By 1896, the Gallia brewery was the largest in the capital, winning a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle four years later. In the early 1960s, competition became fierce and the brewery was demolished, but two beer lovers, Guillaume Roy and Jacques Ferté, took over the brand, because a real Parisianbeer was missing from the landscape!
For almost an hour and a quarter, you can enjoy a guided tour of the bar and brewery, as well as a tasting of four different beverages on site, which is why the tour is only open to adults. The program includes an explanation of the ingredients needed for a good beer, the brewing process and the brand's various recipes. All you need to know about Gallia beer!
What's more, the Gallia bar is open all week long, with a great musical program, cabarets and an in-house comedy club! It's an opportunity to enjoy a privileged experience, tasting freshly brewed beers at the source, directly from producer to consumer!
Beer is out, but vineale is in with Gallia Paris brewery!
