Think you're the best bar pillar in the capital? Think again. You might face some tough competition at the upcoming bar game tournament, which will crown the 2026 reigning champion of the bar counter. The competition kicks off on April 2nd at Ground Control, followed by the final at the Communale in Saint-Ouen on October 15th, 2026.
Participants, either solo or in teams, will compete in a series of qualifying rounds before advancing to the finals in each iconic discipline: 421, belote, pinball, foosball, and darts. Each winner of their discipline will then join the four other champions for a final legendary and truly absurd challenge to decide the overall winner: the Grande Partie de Barbichette, where the first to laugh loses.
Alongside the tournament, a beer tasting workshop awaits you. Over the course of 45 minutes, adult participants are invited to explore the art of tasting and learn about beer-making through four guided tastings. The event is free, including the workshop, but be sure to register in advance to secure your spot! Alternatively, you can just come to cheer on your friends or soak up the lively atmosphere.
