Long & Tee is an astonishing Chinese tea room in the 9th arrondissement. Here you can sample Asian delicacies and try out the astonishing trompe l'oeil pastries.

Unusual alert! We've unearthed one of the capital's most astonishing tea rooms! We're off to the 9th arrondissement of Paris, on Rue de Lafayette, to push open the doors of Long & Tee, a gourmet address that's well worth a visit. The least we can say is that the menu at this Chinese tearoom is full of surprises!

Here, it's 100% homemade! Savoury delights include Momo, an ultra-goury Chinese sandwich with simmered pork and peppers, served with cold Chinese noodles with cucumbers and a Chinese sauce, and bubble tea lovers can try out new flavours such as blue butterfly flower, as well as fruity teas and smoothies.

When it comes to pastries, this is a sweet tooth's paradise. Long & Tee's speciality is its astonishing trompe-l'œil pastries: an adorable dog or an ultra-Kawaii sleeping bear turn out to be chocolate mousse with a strawberry heart. There's even a humorous version of mango cheesecake in cheese form.

Alongside these are more traditional Asian teahouse creations, including the famous mille-crêpes, available here in matcha, tiramisu, lychee rose or black tea and osmanthus flower versions, as well as moon cakes in various forms and Hong Kong desserts. The icing on the cake is that here you can order unusual, made-to-measure creations for a birthday party!

If you're looking for a culinary adventure, this is the place!

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
