The month of March is marked this year by Ramadan, during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. In the evening, the Ftour, or Iftar, marks the end of the fast, and observers gather around a meal often featuring flagship specialties such as traditional soups like harira or chorba, mezzés, bricks, oriental pastries and other delicacies. This moment of conviviality is usually shared with family or friends, whether or not they are practicing.
Some restaurants are also offering special menus for breaking the fast. And if you're looking for a good spot for ftour this Ramadan, then get your diaries ready: on Wednesday March 19, 2025, a solidarity Iftar awaits us at the Péra Café in Créteil, just a short drive from Paris.
This Turkish restaurant with its semi-gastronomic cuisine is the venue for this charity Ftour organized by Le Bouquet Maghreb in aid of theBanlieue Plus association, which helps people in difficulty. Priced at €25, the evening includes a gourmet menu comprising an aperitif, a selection of hot and cold starters, a choice of dish (Hünkar Begendi, Lamb with prunes or Chicken stuffed with rice) and a traditional Ottoman sorbet. But that's not all: guests will also be treated to the first episode of the Alhane Al Madi series. After a presentation of the Banlieue Plus association and upcoming projects, the audience will enjoy a comedy show hosted by Zatis with Mahé and Sofiane Soch, followed by dessert.
It's sure to be a great time of conviviality and exchange during Ramadan 2025 in the Paris region. Click here to book!
