Due to the intense heat, the program for Saturday, June 27 has been canceled. The celebration, however, will proceed on Sunday, June 28: don’t miss the first harvests during a weekend dedicated to wheat, bread, and farming know-how at Ferme de la Villette.

After the summer solstice, the harvest season begins! On June 28, 2026, young and old explorers are invited to witness the mowing of wheat in the heart of Paris, right in the 19th arrondissement. To do so, head to the Ferme de la Villette, nestled in the Parc de La Villette. La Fête des Blés was scheduled for Saturday, June 27, but due to a heatwave, the event has been canceled for that day.

From field to wood-fired oven, the event lets you trace every step that turns grain into warm bread: harvesting wheat, bundling sheaves, collecting the grains, turning it into flour, then shaping and baking the bread. With family or friends, lace up the farmer's boots to discover traditional gestures and share a convivial moment around loaves just out of the oven.

What's more, a wide range of workshops of all kinds for kids and adults. Discover the full program!
