Les Maisons de Campagne is a unique experience launched by the hotel group Les Hôtels (très) Particuliers. The idea is to"reinvent green getaways, family weekends and corporate seminars". And one goal: to give priority to"pleasure and sharing, to free your guests from all constraints".

Golf, cinema, board games, bike rides, video games, pinball, billiards, spa, boat rides... there's plenty for children and their parents to do to relax or simply enjoy the country life in an exceptional bucolic setting. An experience that the editorial team was able to try out for a weekend, and which we particularly appreciated on a number of counts.

First of all, it's best to choose an all-inclusive package, which gives you full access to all the castle's activities and areas. A weekend where you'll feel right at home, with lounges where you can sit by the fire and enjoy the bar. Would you like a soda, a beer, a cocktail, a glass of wine, or the whole bottle if you're in a group? All you have to do is help yourself to the fridges and cupboards provided. Everything is done to limit constraints and make you feel at home.

Want to play a board game in the evening? They're available in the château's lounges. Want to enjoy a movie? All you have to do is go into the cinema (a real one) and enjoy the films on offer while nibbling on popcorn. The same goes for activities: how about a bike ride? They're available in the château courtyard and will take you wherever you want to go on the estate.

Whether you want to play tennis or golf, it's all the same - just ask for access and equipment. Golf lessons for beginners, children and adults are also available. As for the spa, you'll need to make an appointment, but access to the treatments, pool, sauna, hammam and tropical shower is quite straightforward. We particularly appreciate the quality of the massages on offer, a true moment of relaxation and well-being.

On the dining side, the establishment offers a variety of pleasant buffets and table services, in a stunning space with a half-wooded, half-industrial architecture. This is the real strength of the château, which offers a range of simple, generous dishes and a cuisine to match. A special mention goes to the patisserie, the icing on the cake of a most exquisite meal. Picnics can also be organized, and a picnic basket is prepared for you. As for the rooms, they are quite classic, but very comfortable and offer you a real night's sleep.

On the other hand, it's important to note that the château is open to private individuals only at weekends (except during school vacations), and on certain public holidays and bank holidays, while weekdays are reserved for corporate seminars, which offer all the comforts of a week away from the stress of the office.
