American dancer and choreographer Loïe Fuller gave her name to theHotel Miss Fuller, a new establishment located a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe, in the chic districts of Paris. After a career in the theater in the United States, Loïe Fuller turned to dance and moved to Paris in 1892, where she met with immense success. A pioneer of modern dance, she mesmerized the Folies Bergère stage with her serpentine dances.
This central figure of the Parisian art scene of the Belle Époque and Art Nouveau, and feminist muse to many artists, is reflected in every detail of this 4-star establishment. Designed by the interior architecture agency NIDO, the Hotel Miss Fuller pays homage toArt Nouveau, from its variegated stained glass windows to its large basket-shaped glass roof and planted patio.
As usual, the group behind the Drawing Hotels Collection called on 4 artists who were given carte blanche to imagine the patterns for the carpets, corridor wallpapers and room interiors. There are 48 rooms and suites, each with a different atmosphere.
As for public areas, theMiss Fuller Hotel features a lounge bar under its large glass roof, where guests can sip cocktails inspired by the creations of the hotel's artists; a gym open to hotel guests for free access; and a wellness area where guests can enjoy a massage, spa or private bath.
