Paul, a serial entrepreneur, and Matthieu and Pauline, creators of culinary bliss, are behind this new Kitchen MP in the lively, touristy Rue Mouffetard, in Paris's 5th arrondissement.
The 3 of them wanted to offer a warm, friendly place where customers would want to come and take a break, comfortably curled up in large linen cushions. Black and white checkerboard tiles, stone walls, long benches... The place has plenty of charm!
In the kitchen, everything is homemade with seasonal produce and inspiration!
You can treat yourself to breakfast, brunch at weekends, lunch or a snack.
To get the day off to a good start, you can sit down to a delicious breakfast, which you can compose as you wish. Mariage Frères coffee or tea (5€), detox juice (6.50€), accompanied by toasted bread with jam or Piedmont hazelnut spread, or if you prefer, delicious homemade granola (6-7.90€).
For lunch on weekdays, from Tuesday to Friday, from 12:00 to 14:30, you can choose from a 12€ menuthat includes a seasonal vegetable soup, savory tart and cookie.
Or à la carte you'll find a coral lentil salad with cranberries & lettuce heart, lime mascarpone (12€), Baked avocado & soy, ricotta di buffala from Terra Candido & spinach shoots (13€), Scottish salmon Gravlax, Pomme grenaille & our secret sauce (14€)...
And don't forget the quiches (12€) and soups of the day (8€)!
Finish on a sweet note with a good brownie (3.50€) or a café gourmand (9.50€).
If you come with several friends, don't hesitate to share some Petrossian Tarama (9-20€), tuna rillettes, or Bellota Charcuterie with its pan con tomate!
