Opened by Emma and Steven, both passionate about good food and Italy, Cocco Mio is the new cantine that sublimates the artisanal products of the Botte and takes the taste buds on a journey.
At Cocco Mio, all products have been carefully selected by our gourmet duo, who first traveled the roads ofItaly to meet the best producers, artisans and wine merchants, before taking the plunge. As a result, the cheeses come from a family farm near Naples, the jarred vegetables from the small village of Ugento, the Parma ham from Azienda Leporati, producers of cured ham for three generations...
"Our religion is 'good' produce," explain Emma and Steven. The result is a short, simple menu that showcases their discoveries without ever distorting them: insalata with burrata and vegetables of the moment, focaccia cooked on the premises to be composed yourself with a charcuterie, a cheese and a vegetable, pastas with seasonal accompaniments... Not to mention the desserts, including the wonderful tiramisu, with its surprisingly light texture!
All these delights can be enjoyed on site, in the bright, open-plan dining room, or taken away, at unbeatable prices for the neighborhood. For those who'd like to play chef's apprentice at home, Cocco Mio also has a grocery corner, stocked with the restaurant's flagship products: extra virgin olive oil, wines, breadsticks, tomato sauce...
One Thursday a month, the place also offers an apéritivo in the purest Italian tradition: an all-you-can-eat cocktail and buffet with Italian-style tapas, all homemade of course, to the sound of a DJ who changes every time. Good to know: for Christmas, the address also offers gourmet baskets starting at €35 with lots of sweet and savory delizie. Andiamo!
