If you've never dared to indulge in a poke bowl because you're vegetarian and can't eat fish, or you simply don't like anything that comes from the sea, then things are about to change for you. Pokawa has just unveiled its brand new poke bowl, the Veggie Chicken Bowl.
Available as a limited-edition takeaway from Pokawa stores in Paris, as well as for delivery via Deliveroo and UberEats, this poke bowl is Pokawa's first to feature veggie meat, and more specifically veggie aiguillettes from Les Nouveaux Fermiers.
At first glance, we have to admit that we weren't too keen on the idea. But then... The meat dupe is quite incredible, both in terms of flavor and texture, which truly resembles poultry meat!
These aiguillettes are made from soy, and are rich in fiber and protein, non-GMO, and above all better for the planet. In fact, the production of these poultry aiguillettes produces 11 times less CO2 than real poultry!
To accompany these aiguillettes, this Veggie Chicken Bowl features avocado, mango, edamame, cucumber, cashews, Thai cebette and sesame seeds on a base of vinegared rice. The choice is yours: tropical passion fruit sauce, ponzu sauce, sweet soy sauce, savory soy sauce or spicy mayo to warm your taste buds!
An ideal poke bowl for vegetarians but also for lovers of novelties!
