Yotam Ottolenghi, a culinary icon of the 2000s and author of numerous successful cookbooks over the years, is coming to Paris to open a new restaurant in the capital in the spring of 2025.
This Israeli-born London chef, who studied French cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu, was head pastry chef at a number of London addresses, including Michelin-starred ones, before opening his first delicatessen in Notting Hill, followed by delicatessens and other establishments in various parts of the English capital, focusing on vegetables, Levantine flavors and Middle Eastern products - rosewater, zaatar and pomegranate molasses in particular.
Now at the helm of 7 restaurants in London, Yotam Ottolenghi is setting up shop in the French capital with his very first Parisian address, inspired by his famous London delicatessen, featuring a colorful cuisine with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences.
Parisians who have been following Yotam Ottolenghi's prolific career on the other side of the Channel will be drooling with anticipation. Stay tuned for news of the new restaurant's opening date, which should be sometime in April or May.
