It's not easy to eat lobster in Paris when you're not rich. Rémy, Louis, Vivien and Damien, 4 buddies in love with this delicious crustacean, decided to democratize lobster and open an affordable restaurant in Paris, just like in Boston, New York or Canada.
Unlike other restaurants,Les Pinces has decided to offer only fresh lobster on its menu. How do they do it, you ask? Well, they have lobsters delivered from the USA or Canada twice a week, from their specially installed basement tank. That's right, to run their business successfully, the friends invested in the installation of a tank capable of holding nearly 200 lobsters. And that's a good thing, because you'll find delicious lobster waiting for you on your plate.

The restaurant is ideally located on rue Bourg-Tibourg, 2 steps from the Hôtel de Ville. The place is divided into 2 spaces, a large room on the left and a smaller one with a bar on the right, for a total of 100m2. A simple, welcoming decor with white walls, exposed stonework, wooden beams and schoolboy chairs awaits you. Unlike the more upscale places where lobster is usually served, this is a young, friendly restaurant where you can feel at home.
There's no long menu here. You'll discover a simple offering with just 3 choices of dishes at the single price of €25. Choose from the 500g roasted lobster, the delicious and gourmet Lobster Roll, or the Rib of Beef for die-hard carnivores.
We particularly recommend the Lobster Roll, which is a killer. With its buttered and toasted bread, created especially for the restaurant by Rachel, its homemade sauce and lobster-rich topping, it's sure to get you hooked. Dishes are served with a good portion of crispy fries (homemade), a portion of well-seasoned salad and a nice lemony sauce.
Finally, how about a little dessert? Rachel's famous cheesecake, warm crumble with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or homemade chocolate mousse.

Last but not least, you'll also find some great cocktails to enjoy at the table or at the bar. At €10 alcoholic or €7 non-alcoholic, let yourself be tempted. We really liked the Red Tail, which combines vodka, fresh raspberries, cranberry juice, lemon juice, basil and sparkling water.
In short, if you want to enjoy good lobster all year round with your mates, now you know where to go!
