It is in the heart of Maison Albar Hotels Le Pont-Neuf, a five-star hotel, that the Rostang family opened in 2017, their urban inn named Odette. On the menu, renewed in September 2020, gourmet and flavorful dishes highlighting small and local producers for a very attractive price.
Last year, a new chef stepped in Odette kitchen: chef Rémi Henaux. He is still rulling the kitchen and offers a new menu of delicate and flavorful dishes giving pride of place to seasonal vegetables. On the menu then, oeuf parfait, heirloom tomatoes, Coco de Pimpol with fresh herbs, poultry supreme, sand carrots and potatoes, or even Guanaja chocolate puff pie... As many flavors to discover for a mouthwatering plate.
We tried the new menu... We went for the à la carte options. As a main course, we got the sand carrots and savory candied potatoes, guinea fowl supreme and zucchinis that have been very comforting as it was cold outside. Note vegetables are highlighted first for a very flavorful dish.
As for dessert, the Guanaja chocolate puff pie enables to beautifully wrap up a meal of a rare delicacy, perfectly balanced and for an unbeatable quality/price ratio. Running the kitchen, chef Rémi Henaux perfectly retranscribes the emotion of the Rostand dishes; and the Rostang family is known for being gourmet for six generations.
In other words, a must see if you happen to be in the Halles area at weekend, the restaurant only opening from Friday to Monday.
