Heading to Italy! Non Solo Pizze offers you to enjoy delicious pizzas baked in a wood oven, as well as typically Sicilian dishes, the whole in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Come along!

Non Solo Pizze is the kind of restaurant making you feel like at home. With a décor as warm and welcoming as the staff, one chats, laughs and enjoys Italian cuisine made with love. Meet the pizzaiolo working on pizzas as soon as you arrive. While he is juggling with preparations, behind him, you can see the traditional oven. There is no doubt: here one can enjoy pizzas baked in a wood oven.

If you speak a bit of Italian, the name of the eatery, Non Solo Pizze, sets you thinking. You are right, here pizzas are not the only dishes served. Welcome to a hybrid place, a mix of a pizzeria and a restaurant. On the menu, pasta, of course, as well as dishes typical from Palermo and Cefalù.

It starts with the antipasti like you have never tasted before. We highly recommend the assortments of turnovers including the delicious arancini, these risotto-stuffed fritters.

On the menu, a delightful selection of starters such as the mozzarella fior di latte coated in a thin coat of crispy breadcrumbs, served with zucchinis, cherry tomatoes from Sicily and fresh basil, or the purple eggplants with fresh Sicilian ricotta, homemade tomato coulis, fresh basil and grated Grana Padano.

As for us, we go for the hearty and beautiful plate of fried fishes to share including squids, king prawns, sardines, seabream, and calamari. Magic works and we feel like by the seaside from the very first bite!

After this hearty starter, it is time to cut to the chase: main courses! We cannot say no to the delicious wood oven pizza. On the menu? More than a dozen pizzas including the Parmino (Pomodoro, fresh basil, mozzarella, wild arugula, grated Grana Padano, and 24-month cured Parm ham), or the Pachino (Pizza bianca with Pachino tomato bruschetta, fresh basil, mozzarella di bufala, and 24-month aged shaved parmesan).

As for us, we went for a special creation based on zucchinis, eggplants, ricotta, mozzarella di bufala and tomato sauce. A delight when it comes to the ingredients and the dough that rested for 72 hours so it is very light. A thoroughly prepared recipe to enjoy a rather light pizza that will not weigh you down.

But since there are not only pizzas, maybe you prefer the typical dishes on the menu. The Scaloppina Siciliana might delight meat lovers. Picture this: veal escalope as tender as can be, pan-seared with fresh Sicilian tomatoes, served with Lautrec pink garlic, homemade tomato coulis, Sicilian eggplants, and Grana Padano shavings.

Moving on to desserts, Non Solo Pizze hits the bullseye with the staple homemade tiramisu to choose in classic version, or in pistachio or even red berry served in a tiny oven dish; what a sweet delight! As for the rest, the restaurant also serves fruity panna cotta, and surprise cake baked by the chef’s mother.

And to pair them all, Non Solo Pizze suggests their delicious Spritz, as well as a very delightful selection of Sicilian wines that will take you on a journey!

Taste buds are delighted and we would love to continue the experience at home. It is perfect since Non Solo Pizze is not only a pizzeria or a restaurant, but also a delicatessen! So, if you fall in love with some goods, you can have it home!

There is only one thing we can say: Grazie Italia!
