Want to go higher? Here's the ideal Parisian spot for making memories. Acte II (formerly Au_Top) is a secret rooftop that's open all year round, offering an unparalleled 360° panorama of central Paris. A surprising address accessed through what looks like a garage door. Yes, to discover this gourmet restaurant by Jean Philippe Nikoghossian, you need to have an adventurous spirit.
After traversing a treasure hunt-like path, passing behind a garbage can to discover a hidden elevator, before skirting an astonishing gallery of ice and magnums, this mysterious address finally reveals itself to us.
This address is already at the top of Paris, and the view it offers will inspire no other adjectives. Who would have thought that such a well-hidden spot in the center of the capital could reveal such a fascinating panorama? It's almost as if you were in a hanging garden. At dusk, you can even admire the shimmering colors of the sky before Paris transforms itself into the City of Light. In summer, you can sunbathe here, but in winter, the roof closes in, so this address is not just for sunny days!
On the menu, chef Masahide Ikuta is at the helm. He invites us to enjoy Japanese gastronomy above the Parisian rooftops. The menu featureswood-grilled meats and fish, and recipes that celebrate the flavors of the land of the rising sun. It's the perfect way to get away from it all, while enjoying the unique view over the rooftops of Paris.
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
