It looks a bit like Little Italy… And this is what makes Manhattan Terrazza, a restaurant serving 100% pasta, pizza and antipasti in Paris 17th arrondissement. After The Little Italy, then The Brooklyn Pizzeria, the restaurant founder, Gary Dorr is back again with a third address that is “more casual and laid-back than ever before”.
The idea of the restaurant? Servings Parisians and tourists “the best of the Neapolitan pizza at the lowest cost: authentic margherita without cheating on the size or the quality of the ingredients”. And a very simple menu relying on 100% Italian and well-sourced ingredients. Pizzas, pasta, antipasti, dolci, insalata… The choice is all yours. As for the décor and the atmosphere, we have the same codes than in New York during the Prohibition, like in The Godfather with red brick walls, industrial pipes and other tags by street artists.
As for the menu, that the editorial board has had the change to try, it’s very flavorful: speaking of pizza, the very classic margherita is absolutely delicious. As tasty as the one you can enjoy in Rome, Naples or Firenze pizzerias. Honorable mention to the special one with burrata and fresh truffle from Molise to die for! As for desserts, let’s go for the tiramisu, a very light one. Also note that the USA brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, for a relaxing moment between Italy and the United States. In other words, THE new spot to feel, just for a meal, like in Italy… Andiamo, ragazzi?
