Terraza Mikuna, the 300-square-meter rooftop perched atop the BHV Marais building in Paris's 4th arrondissement, reopens for the 2026 season with a revamped menu, a new lunch offering, and some great cocktails.

The Terraza Mikuna rooftop is back for a new season in 2026, and it’s in great shape. Perched on the 6th and 7th floors of the BHV Marais building, at 1 rue des Archives in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, this Paris rooftop offers 300 m² with a 360° panorama of the capital, preserving all the elements that made it a hit since its 2019 opening by Amaury Dumont and Thomas Ferdant, while adding several major new features. Even as BHV navigates a period of transition, Terraza Mikuna remains independent and more ambitious than ever.

What does the Terraza Mikuna menu look like in 2026?

For this season, the kitchen is led by chef Antoine Diverneresse (ex-Cheval Blanc Courchevel, Monte-Carlo), who reshapes the menu with a bold, confident identity. The basics that earned the venue its reputation remain: shareable tapas, ultra‑fresh crudos (ceviche, sashimi, carpaccio), and charcoal-grilled meats, signature dishes of the house. The view, from this Parisian rooftop, is of course unbeatable: the Hôtel de Ville straight ahead, Saint-Jacques Tower, the Seine meandering in the distance, and the gilded Iron Lady at sunset.

What are the 2026 novelties at Terraza Mikuna?

First notable novelty: Terraza Mikuna opens for lunch for the first time. A light, sunny offering centered on fresh, indulgent salads now lets you enjoy the terrace from noon onward. The spot is also teaming up with Club Lulu to offer exclusive rooftop fitness classes, blending workouts with a lifestyle vibe and social atmosphere. After each session, participants can extend the experience with a food menu that showcases panoramic views of the capital.

What about cocktails at Terraza Mikuna?

On the bar side, mixology steps up a notch with a completely redesigned menu by Nicolas Battafarano and Matteo Marrocu, former head bartenders of the Lutetia and founders of We Off. Each creation is meant to be a full sensory experience. Notable signatures include the Sol Dorado (Patrón Reposado, yuzu, matcha, cucumber), the Sunset Terraza (ILEGAL mezcal, aji amarillo, mango, passion fruit), and the Picante de la Casa (Patrón Reposado, pineapple, jalapeño, lime). The Patrón Paloma Parfaite becomes the terrace’s summer signature this year. A carefully curated selection of non-alcoholic cocktails rounds out the menu for those who prefer.

Beyond the drinks, the terrace morphs into a vegetal hacienda in partnership with Patrón, punctuated by festive rituals and immersive workshops that plunge guests into the Mexican spirit. More experiences and exclusive collaborations will be unveiled throughout the season.

What’s the vibe by level?

The venue offers two distinct atmospheres by floor. On the 6th floor, expect a warm, loungey terrace ideal for sharing tapas and cocktails in a relaxed setting. On the 7th floor, the mood rises to a "Terrace Club" vibe, with chic design, sunny colors, and a livelier, nightlife energy. On weekends, DJ sets add Latin flavors, and the buena vida vibe carries on until 2 a.m.
