Set rue de Vertbois, a few streest from the Place de la République, Loaf relies on ecofriendly FAST GOOD with recyclable cardboard boxes.
In addition to staple banh mi and Vietnamese bowls, perfect to eat on the go, LOAF has improved their menu with more Vietnamese specialties likely to delight connoisseurs. On the menu then, starters such as MIAM MIAM (or "hot turnovers"), these flaky turnovers stuffed with meat to enjoy at anytime, a small red and white cabbage salad with sesame.
Then, salads to pair the sunny weather. Some "LE BOEUF QUI RIZ" salad inspired by Vietnamese style roast beef with whole black rice, mixed salad, arugula sprouts, and Granny Smith apple, with a drizzle of Loaf sauce based on meat juice.
The BUBBA GUMP is a shrimp salad including spinach sprouts, green papaya, wheat pasta served with vinaigrette whipped with krill (small freshwater shrimp) emulsion.
Making you drool? To quench your thirst, LOAF bets on a new range of cold drinks: yellow pastis, homemade and very refreshing lemonade, LOAF detox water with seasonal fruits. At the moment, Peach/Rosemary, and Blueberry/Fresh sage. Enjoy traditional coffee and high-quality tea selected by LA MAISON DU VIETNAM in a sustainable and solidarity-based approach in small Vietnamese producers.
Sweet toothed are not left out with the shia seed and fruit pudding, the cassava cake or the Matcha-coconut cake.
In addition to eating well, one travels to Vietnam thanks to the restaurant's very floral decoration, and the ceiling by Nón Lá, traditional conical hats made of straw! Tiny details found everywhere: cilantro, symbolical herb in the Vietnamese cuisine, that looks like a Vietnamese version of the four-leaf clover.
Do you loaf me too, then?
