Craving Mexican flavors? How perfect! A few months after opening their first store in the Marais, El Vecino opens a second taqueria in the Saint-Honoré neighborhood. On the menu, homemade cuisine sticking to the book of traditional Mexican street-food. Nothing surprising since the team running El Vecino is none other but the one behind Inka and La Mezcaleria!
Behind El Vecino, the will of sticking to the Mexican gastronomic heritage and make it shine behind the borders of Latin America by serving authentic tacos based on homemade tortillas and original recipes exploring Mexican cuisine in all its diversity to stuff them up. For taco is now available everywhere in the world, and has been spoiled a lot along the years!
At El Vecino, taco is to be enjoyed on the go, or on site, on the terrace in the winter like in the summer; these small corn tortillas are made daily on site and stuffed with exotic ingredients. To wash it all down, go for draught Corona beer, long drinks prepared by the La Mezcaleria team, as well as locals’ favorite drink, Michelada, a typical cocktail from Mexico based on beer.
Taqueria contemporary style designed by Ekaterina Goncharova, already behind the decoration of the Malicia – the hidden bar of the Mezcaleria – and Rehab speakeasy. A small corner of Mexico in the heart of Paris!
