Devoted to culture in Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis), Mains d'Oeuvres provides a reach artistic season every year and takes part, on Saturday September 17, 2022, in European Heritage Days.
Therefore, the EHD are the occasion for Mains d’Oeuvres to open the doors to the public and launch the cultural 2022/2023 season called Géométries Variables.
Therefore, on September 17, Mains d’Oeuvres offers a festive day to take visitors on a journey telling about the story of the building, industrial heritage, set within walking distance from the Saint-Ouen flea market. By the way, it is named after Saint-Ouen’s workforce, the one found in the former Ferodo-Valeo workshops, for Mains d’Oeuvres (French for workforce) is set within the former social and sporting center of the Valeo factories. The very place where workers used to share a friendly moment, a cultural and citizen break.
For European Heritage Days 2022, the building is turned into an exhibition hall to display work by architect group A+C² showing their research work in the “Corps et Âmes” exhibition. This will be the closing day of the exhibition (running since June 9), as it will then give way to the new program.
