Among the emblematic venues, some transport or navigation firms will offer thematic tours, helping you better understand their historical significance and contemporary role.

First held in 1984, the Heritage Days have become a flagship event on the cultural calendar, drawing millions of curious visitors each year. The occasion lets us explore places that are often off limits and gain a deeper understanding of the history that surrounds us. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the living heritage, through itineraries or networks that have shaped France and Europe, as well as to rediscover the essential link between the capital and its maritime heritage.
