Bastille Day, July 14, 2021's concert on Paris Champ de Mars, program

To end Bastille Day 2021 - or France's National Day - on a high note, the Orchestre national de France, the Chœur and the Maîtrise de Radio France await you on the Champ de Mars on Wednesday July 14, 2021 for a fine symphony concert at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. On the occasion, soprano Pretty Yende, mezzo Clémentine Margaine, and tenor Piotr Beczała will be there alongside violinist Renaud Capuçon and musician Ibrahim Maalouf. Following the success the concert met over the past years, the Champ de Mars will once again be the venue for a fine symphony concert to celebrate Bastille Day. The event will take place at the foot of the Eiffel Tower on Wednesday July 14, 2021 from 9:15 p.m.

Last year, because of the health context, the show took place without an audience. This year, music fans are invited again for this great music event. As Radio France stated on their website, the access to the Champ-de-Mars will be free and booking-free. Furthermore, Radio France asks viewers to anticipate security checks at the entrances coming 45 minutes prior to the shows.

This big symphony concert will once again be orchestrated by the Orchestre national de France, the Chœur de Radio France and the Maîtrise de Radio France. The Orchestre National de France, the Maîtrise, and the Choeur de Radio France, without forgetting the greatest international soloists invited will not miss this great musical event, before singing the stirring Marseillaise. This year, soprano Pretty Yende, mezzo Clémentine Margaine and tenor Piotr Beczała will be there alongside violinist Renaud Capuçon and musician Ibrahim Maalouf.

Held once again by Radio France, France Télévisions, Ville de Paris, this great show will air live from 9:15 p.m. on France 2 TV channel. The Concert de Paris will be followed by the traditional firework show let off from 11 p.m. from the Eiffel Tower.

For the record, the edition 2019 broke an audience record for a classical music concert on French television, with over 3 million viewers.
