To kick off the Christmas vacations, the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace is offering a trip under the stars! On Sunday December 17, 2023, come and take part in the many family activities.

The long-awaited Christmas vacations are finally here! At last, some time for family fun , discovering the great things to do in the area, enjoying hot chocolates and cakes... And above all, visit the Air and Space Museum! To celebrate the start of the vacation season, the famous museum is offering us an exceptional day, a Christmas under the stars.

This Sunday, December 17, 2023, children, parents and visitors of all ages are invited for a day of fun and discovery. Various workshops, games and special sessions are organized throughout the day. These events are sure to please the curious and the creative alike, and are perfectly suited to the festive season. So roll up your sleeves, open your eyes wide, and get ready for a busy day! Christmas time means wearing your best Christmas sweater when you visit the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espac.

In between workshops, don't forget to take a look at the "Années folles de l'aviation"exhibition, which looks back at the early history of aviation.

Antoinette show

He: an inflexible explorer looking for an aeroplane and a pilot to explore a wilderness by air.
She: a free-spirited young woman, manager of a small airline and pilot of an Antoinette monoplane.
When these two meet, their hair gets mussed, their hair gets ruffled, and sparks fly! And after a few slaps in the face - literally and figuratively - to the sound of the airplane's 8-cylinder engine, our man comes to understand that it's always good to get a bit of height, and that the most beautiful journey is often the one we take to meet others...
Funny, joyful theater for the whole family!

From plane to biplane" workshop

Discover the principles that enable aircraft (biplanes) to fly by building your own cardboard model. Leave with your model and continue the adventure by observing the planes flying above you!

Space Toys" exhibition)

To coincide with the Christmas vacations, an exhibition of space and science-fiction toys dating from the 1950s to the 1970s will be on show at the museum. Designed in the form of themed showcases, the exhibition will feature robots, pistolasers and other space weapons, exploration vehicles and futuristic toys from the conquest of space as well as from earlier times.

Decorate your own gingerbread

Let yourself be tempted by a culinary workshop at the museum! Christmas is THE time to indulge your sweet tooth: apprentice pastry chefs from the Lycée hôtelier de Dugny will teach you how to decorate your own gingerbread... To enjoy at home!
