At the heart of theJardin d'Acclimatation, there's an area that kids love when the weather's hot: La Pataugeoire! From May to September, when the weather's fine, the spot offers a great burst of freshness and a recreational area that's sure to please. Please note that while the area is freely accessible, you'll need to pay the park entrance fee to enjoy it.
Located opposite the Grandes Ecuries and Théâtre de Guignol, the paddling pool is a great place to enjoy summer fun in the heart of Paris. Parents can stretch out on deckchairs positioned around fountains and water games, while children enjoy refreshing misters, a rainbow of water jets, a flower fountain and a water cannon, where they can splash around in delight. Feeling a little hot? All you have to do is chase after them for a while and come back to dry off in the sun.
This part of the Jardin d'Acclimatation is also the ultimate playground, with a multitude offree play areas. Little mossies can get on board the giant boat, and sporty types can jump on the mini trampoline, before running to the swings, climbing the spider and then taking on the ping-pong tables for a great tournament. Don't forget your shovels, rakes, buckets and shell-shaped mussels to make the most of Jardin-Plage: sandcastles and good humour are strictly permitted!
And, of course, you can enjoy all the other activities at the Jardin d'Acclimatation. Animals, rides, games and sand parks, there's plenty to do.
