The National Day 2026 is shaping up to be lively in Plaisir! As every year, the town in the Yvelines (78) celebrates the storming of the Bastille and the unity of the French nation with a grand public evening, July 13, 2026! And of course, entry is free and open to all.
It's a tradition that every town in France celebrates the Fête Nationale. Tradition also dictates that fireworks and a popular ball are organized on July 13, July 14 and sometimes even both days! An opportunity for Plaisir's 31,000 inhabitants to enjoy themselves with family and friends, and to take in the big show.
As the town is known for its green spaces, you'll no doubt be able to catch a glimpse of the fireworks from a little corner of paradise: the Parc du Château!
On the evening of Monday, July 13, in Château Park, come dance at the traditional grand ball and enjoy a spectacular, music-filled fireworks display from the Festival Ring. To help you make the most of the night, food trucks will be on hand. As always, entry is free and open to all.
To enjoy the fireworks in the best possible conditions, we invite you to head to Parc du Château 20 to 30 minutes before it starts at 11 p.m.
