For the National Day, this 14 July, France hums with spectacular celebrations. Each year, on this occasion, countless activities are organized across the country. From pyrotechnic shows featuring traditional fireworks, to military parades, popular dances, firefighters’ balls and other festive programs, towns nationwide mark the moment with style.

In Paris, the day is defined by two high points: the military parade along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and the iconic fireworks display at the Eiffel Tower, unusually held this year on July 13 in the evening. As for the region surrounding the City of Light, it doesn’t miss a beat: all of Île-de-France gets into the party mood and unveils a splendid program spread across July 13 and 14.

The Bastille Day 2026 program in Saint-Germain-en-Laye:

Join us to celebrate the national holiday at the National Domain of the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye on July 13, 2026, from 7 p.m.

• 7:00 PM: ceremonial arms and parade on the esplanade of the National Domain at the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye
• From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Batucada performance by the Capoeira association in partnership with CLEF
• 9:30 PM: the dance floor opens with D'Angelo And Co
• 11:00 PM: fireworks
• From 11:20 PM to 1:00 AM: musical atmosphere

Note that you may bring a picnic and settle on the grounds, as well as grab a drink at the elected officials’ refreshment stand. Glass containers are also prohibited. You can access the Grounds via the main entrance on Rue de la Surintendance and via the Boulingrin entrance on Avenue le Notre.
