À la Mère de Famille 2025 Easter chocolates: a gourmet collection to discover

For Easter 2025, À la Mère de Famille celebrates its incredible craftsmanship with a series of chocolate creations, each more original than the last. From its historic boutique at 35 rue du Faubourg Montmartre, the house founded in 1761 continues to surprise with its gourmet bestiary, chocolate moldings and poetic limited editions. Once again this year, the collection gives us the opportunity to rediscover the world of this Parisian institution.

The Easter hens, redesigned for the occasion, feature modern lines and elegant finishes. They include Hélène, Julia, Marie-Adelaïde, Jane and Claude, each at their own price and size (from 11.5 cm to 28 cm, from €19 to €122), filled withpraline eggs, praline or dry fried. The René lobster and its comparse Ferdinand, as stylish as ever, are adorned with the famous cement tile motif, the Maison's visual signature.

Everything is made by hand in their Touraine factory: from the design of the molds to the hand-filling, every step is meticulously carried out. This craftsmanship is reflected in the quality of their signature chocolates: dark 65% with woody notes, and milky 39% with a pronounced caramel taste.

This year's favorite is the Bêtes à croquer box, a cheerful assortment of chocolate chips in the shape of cows, squirrels, octopuses or seahorses, in 240 g (€28.50) or 400 g (€45) formats, which can be discovered like a chocolate treasure hunt.

But the big news for 2025 is the collaboration with artist Inès Mélia, who has designed a series of glazed ceramic eggcup holders, halfway between objets d'art and gourmet containers. These delicate egg- or flower-shaped pieces enclose a hazelnut and almond praline egg, under a shell of dark or milk chocolate. Offered in limited series, they are available exclusively in boutiques and on the official eshop, from €65.

And to celebrate Easter in style, À la Mère de Famille is once again teaming up with the Musée Rodin for an egg hunt in the museum gardens, scheduled for Wednesday April 9, 2025 - a great opportunity to combine artistic heritage and gourmet delights with the whole family.
