Learn how to prepare a galette de rois with your family with Maison Fika's pastry classes

Parents, grandparents, little ones and grown-ups alike, this workshop is for you! On Saturday, January 7th, Maison Fika will be celebrating the King Cake season with family workshops dedicated to making a delicious almond-filled pastry. The morning kicks off with a parent-child duo workshop from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the little ones, followed by an afternoon session for teenagers aged 11 and up and adults, from 3 to 6 p.m.

At the workshops at Maison Fika, you’ll learn a new recipe—but there’s more to it. It’s also a chance to get familiar with the utensils and techniques of pastry making. For the little ones, the session can be attended by two or three children if parents or guardians wish to bring along multiple kids. For parent or teen workshops starting at age 11, the cost is €99 per person. For parent-child duos from age 6, it’s €54 per person. Maison Fika is the newest family-friendly coffee shop to escape to in Asnières. Not only does it serve hot drinks and delicious pastries, but it’s also a kids-friendly spot with dedicated play areas for children.
