For Epiphany 2026, Jacques Genin is once again offering his two signature king cakes. One classic with almond cream to satisfy traditionalists, and a delicious one layered with almonds and chocolate — available for order and to discover before the end of January.

There are some king cakes that delight us just as much year after year. You know the type — these delicious, well-crafted cakes that never cut corners when it comes to quality ingredients or craftsmanship. Among them, Jacques Génin's creations are a perennial favorite, always a treat, and their name naturally comes to mind whenever we think of a top-quality king cake to enjoy in Paris.

As Jacques Génin knows how to captivate all audiences, he offers his renowned classic galette filled with frangipane. However, chocolate lovers won’t want to miss his famous almond-chocolate galette! And when it's a chocolate tart crafted by the acclaimed Parisian master chocolatier, it’s certainly worth a visit.

A generous layer of almond frangipane topped with a decadent layer of chocolate ganache, all wrapped in a crispy, golden puff pastry. Truly, you've reached dessert heaven.

These two treats are ready to be enjoyed solo, with family, or among friends starting this Saturday, January 6, 2024. Expect to spend €11 per person for the almond galette and €12.50 for the chocolate version. Multiply by the number of guests to get the total cost—for four people, the classic frangipane galette comes to €44, while the chocolate-frangipane version is €50 for the same number of appetites.

This year, the fèves are inspired by Claire Falconnet. A ceramicist living between land and sea, she draws from the Indian Ocean to craft her creations—blending goyavier ashes or bagasse (sugarcane residue), basalt, and chalk to infuse her clay with the memory of Réunion Island. From Claire’s fingertips emerge delicate, curved flowers glazed in vibrant hues. Yellow? Red? Green? White? Or perhaps bluish?

So, are we treating ourselves to an authentic delicious King's Cake? Don't forget to place your order!
