The Safran Aviation and Space Museum participates in the 43rd edition of the Heritage Days, on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026. This private museum presents a unique collection of more than 100 aircraft, rocket and helicopter engines, most of which have been restored by the Association des Amis du Musée Safran (aircraft engines) or by former SEP staff (rocket engines).
This little-known museum in Seine-et-Marne was founded in 1989. It grew out of an agreement signed between the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace and Snecma: under this pact Snecma could restore the museum’s aircraft engines from Le Bourget. When the museum holds a duplicate model, Snecma can take it back to display in its own museum. Over the years, the Safran Aeronautics and Space Museum has built a collection that includes aircraft and helicopter engines and rocket engines, landing gears, drones, aircraft equipment, and a complete assortment of Gnôme and Rhône motorcycles.
These impressive machines can be admired during the Heritage Days. For this cultural weekend for the curious, the Safran Museum has planned numerous activities for the whole family.
Le programme est mis à jour en fonction des annonces officielles.
A great weekend of discovery for all aviation enthusiasts!
