On Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21, 2025, the 42nd edition of the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) is the perfect opportunity to discover the most beautiful historical and cultural sites, and places usually closed to the public, near you.
An unlikely weekend full of surprises awaits us: museums, monuments, churches, but also institutions, ministries and unusual places open their doors to us. In Paris and the Île-de-France region, over 1,500 sites will be open to the general public on September 20 and 21, 2025. With such a rich and varied program, it can be hard to choose!
