It has to be said that the remains of themedieval era are relatively few and far between in Paris. Of the capital's 2,185 monuments, only 30 or so date back to the Middle Ages. And to mark the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) this weekend, September 16-17, 2023, some of them are inviting you to discover their mysteries through guided tours and unusual events.
Not familiar with the Heritage Days? This European event takes place every year in September. The aim? To highlight the history and heritage of each region.
