The top bakery in France on M6: the 10 finalists competing in the western Île-de-France region

« The Best Bakery in France » is back with its 13th season, now airing on M6 since November 10th. After exploring the French Riviera, the Occitanie region, and Paris, this delightful culinary show is heading to the western part of Île-de-France from Monday, December 15th, to Friday, December 19th, 2025. So, who are the contenders? Here’s the list of the 10 bakeries from Île-de-France competing this week!

The show " La meilleure boulangerie de France " returned to M6 on November 10 for a new and13th season. For this new gourmet edition, renowned French bakerBruno Cormerais, also named Meilleur Ouvrier de France (2004), and pastry chef Noëmie Honiat continue to travel the length and breadth of France in search of the best bakery in the country. For this new season, viewers will also see Toulouse-based Michelin-starred chef Michel Sarran back on the judging panel, along with pastry chef Chiara Serpaggi, who stood in for Noëmie Honiat several times during the 12th season. Finally, Danny Khezzar, finalist of the 14th season of Top Chef, joins the jury of the show " La meilleure boulangerie de France " ( France's Best Bakery).

For its 13th season, the format remains the same: several bakeries from the same region compete weekly in front of a panel of experts. Together, they smell, touch, and taste a variety of breads, viennoiseries, and pastries created for the occasion. The artisans’ creativity and craftsmanship are also key judging criteria.

Having previously showcased bakeries along the French Riviera, in the western part of Occitanie, and in Paris, the jury of "France’s Best Bakery" is now headed to the west of Île-de-France!

A total of 10 bakeries located in Yvelines, Hauts-de-Seine, and Val-d’Oise will compete on M6 from Monday, December 15, to Friday, December 19, 2025, starting at 6:35 p.m. Note that there will be no episode on Wednesday, December 17. Additionally, viewers can tune in for two back-to-back episodes on Friday, December 19, at 5:30 p.m. and 6:35 p.m.

To stand out and reach the finals, contestants will face several challenges: running their shop, showcasing their signature product, creating a signature bread, and finally, a jury challenge that pushes each baker’s creativity. This year, a new competition has been introduced: "The Mystery Box" — Once a week, bakers will lift the lid of a mystery box revealing three mandatory ingredients. They will then have to turn this surprise into a unique and innovative creation.

So, which 10 bakeries in West Île-de-France will be competing during this new week of "France’s Best Bakery"? From the Atelier des 2 Frères in Saint-Germain-en-Laye to Cyril Huet’s pastry shop in Sèvres, and the bakery Aux 3 Petits Choux in L’Isle-Adam... they’re about to be revealed!
