Gourmet competitions come thick and fast in Paris and the Île-de-France region, but no two are alike. After the prize for the best organic bread in the Île-de-France regionand before the prize for the best apple tart, it's time for the 2025 trophy for the best artisan baker in the Hauts-de-Seine department!
Once again this year, there were many competitors. As indicated by the Greater Paris Bakers' Union, the awards ceremony was held on November 5. This fall, artisan bakersfrom Hauts-de-Seine, competing in the " employer " category, had to outdo themselves by presenting a batch of two traditional French baguettes, a batch of two country loaves, and a batch of three croissants. Artisans competing in the " employee " category had to provide two traditional French baguettes. The same applied to the apprentices in the competition.
So, who took first place? Who won the 2025 trophy for best artisan baker in Hauts-de-Seine? The duo formed byFranck Harcaut and Elio Chaayafrom Boulangerie Bleue, locatedin Rueil-Malmaison, was named the big winner in the " employer " category.
He is followed by Stefan Grall, from Grall's Family in La Garenne-Colombes. Finally, Sylvain Gendronin Asnières-sur-Seine takes third place on the podium.
