The Paris Bar, in partnership with the Mairie de Paris, is organizing a new edition of"L'Avocat dans la Cité" from October 6 to 12, 2025 in the capital. The idea behind this operation? To offer Parisians free legal consultations, with or without appointment, in all specialties.
For one week, the Barreau de Paris is taking over the city to meet Parisians in need. It's an opportunity to benefit from free and often very useful advice when the law eludes us.
So where can you meet these volunteer lawyers from the Paris Bar? These professionals of justice are waiting for you all over the capital, and in particular on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville from October 8 to 12, with the Village de l'avocat or in the Bus de la Solidarité, parked from October 6 to 10 on the Place de la République.
You can also take advantage of open-access consultations at your local arrondissement town hall or at the Tribunal de Paris. Depending on the speciality, you may need to make an appointment before coming, so be sure to check the website! According to the City of Paris, this free, confidential advice and consultation service enables 5,000 people every year to have access to a lawyer and obtain clear answers tailored to their needs.
Numerous specialist lawyers will be on hand to answer your questions on a range of topics, including consumer law, banking law, criminal law, traffic offences, general consultations, housing, labor, family, property and inheritance, companies, crafts and trade.
