The Chinese New Year parade makes a grand return to the Champs-Élysées on Sunday, February 1, 2026. This year, there's an exciting twist: robots will be joining the traditional procession! It’s a unique addition that promises to make the celebration even more unforgettable.

As every year, alongside the famous lions' parade in the 13th arrondissement, the most beautiful avenue in the world opens its arms for a vibrant spectacle. While the Chinese New Year is officially celebrated on February 17th, organizers are inviting us to get a head start on the festivities on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 2:30 p.m., at 99 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. An excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in Asian culture without leaving the capital.

The 2026 edition promises to be truly spectacular, featuring a robotic performance that will enhance traditional dances and demonstrations. Imagining these futuristic machines dancing alongside vibrant dragons and lions—staples of the parade—fills us with excitement. It’s a groundbreaking moment: the first time modern technology has been integrated into this centuries-old procession, forging a bold connection between tradition and innovation.
