This year, for the new Fête de la Musique, Tsugi Radio x Nowadays team up to deliver a big, sunlit all-day outdoor music experience in the heart of La Villette. Join us on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 3 p.m. to midnight to groove to the sounds of Aksel Aksel, Fakear, Audem, Mangabey, and Melvin.

It returns on June 21, bringing a smile to many French people who miss their music! The Fête de la musique celebrates its 44th edition this year. On this occasion, a huge lineup of free concerts awaits, outdoors on streets, squares, bridges and boulevards, and also in parks and gardens, bars and restaurants, as well as in churches and museums.

As always, all styles take center stage at the Music Day celebration. Rock, rap, reggae, classical music, electro, and even jazz, blues and R&B... so many genres to get you dancing and singing at the top of your lungs!

Organized for the first time in this country in 1982, the fête de la musique was born at the initiative of Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture, Maurice Fleuret and Christian Dupavillon. At the time, their aim was simple: to launch a major event that would let all musicians perform and make themselves known for a festive evening. For more than 40 years now, the success has stayed strong, and the fête de la musique has delighted many music lovers every June 21!

In Paris, great music highlights are plentiful during the Fête de la musique and spread across neighborhoods such as the Latin Quarter, Montmartre, or the Marais. This year, several concerts are also taking place in the 19th arrondissement, and more precisely at La Villette. Sunday, June 21, 2026, Tsugi Radio and Nowadays are hosting a grand open air! From 3 p.m. to midnight, artists from the label, radio residents and members close to the Nowadays family will rotate behind the decks installed in front of Tsugi Radio's offices "to celebrate the start of summer in a free, festive and unifying spirit", it is announced.

For the occasion, get ready to dance to mixes spun by roughly fifteen artists with complementary styles—ranging from house and UK garage to bass music, techno, hip-hop, electronica, and influences from beyond. On the bill? Aksel Aksel, Audem, Fakear, Jeff The Fool, Kandelissa b2b Ultranöuk, Luxie, Mangabey, Melvin, OOGO, Eole & Gridr, R1D1 or Yann Kesz.
