Performance, Music, Exhibition
The Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac invites you to an extraordinary White Night, powered by the sea’s breath and the sounds of the world. An evening centered on contemporary creation in the world of Yo-E Ryou, the 2025 winner of the Sonorous Residency, and a unique way to celebrate the museum’s 20th anniversary.
The night will feature a Breath Orchestra segment: two participatory performances by Yo-E Ryou, created with nine volunteers and inspired by the freedivers of Jeju known as Haenyeo, exploring breath, transmission, and collective memory.
Throughout the evening, stroll among the museum’s new contemporary acquisitions with guided tours available every thirty minutes from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. And at any moment, borrow a headset to dive into the collections with the Sonorama app.
Also head up to the roof terrace, where Orkatz, an artist dedicated to ocean protection, will guide you from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. through an immersive, commentary-based listening of her cetacean recordings, before taking over the decks for a DJ set blending downtempo electronic sounds with marine textures until midnight, closing this unique, starry-night soirée.
Le programme est mis à jour en fonction des annonces officielles.
As always, the Musée du Quai Branly knows how to hold our attention and fascinate us! Ready for a Nuit Blanche at the museum?
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
