Cannes Festival 2025: The short film and La Cinef jury, presided over by Maren Ade

Maren Ade will preside over the Short Film and La Cinef juries at the Cannes 2025 Festival, which runs from May 13 to 24.

The German director, screenwriter and producer will be joined by American director, screenwriter and producer Reinaldo Marcus Green, French actress and singer-songwriter Camélia Jordana, producer, photographer and former director of Filmoteca Española José María Prado, and Croatian director and screenwriter Nebojša Slijepčević.

Together, they will have the tough task of awarding the Palme d'Or for short films and the 3 prizes for La Cinef, the Cannes Festival selection for school films, from among the 11 films in the short film competition and the 16 films in the Cinef selection.
