PlayStation rolled out a slate of announcements on September 3, 2026 with two presentations shown back-to-back. The first State of Play focused on upcoming PS5 releases, while the State of Play Japan shone a brighter light on Japanese and Asian titles. On the agenda: new trailers, release dates, updates, and several games pegged for late 2026 and 2027, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Until Dawn 2, Metro 2039, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
